Our clients LOVE their stainless steel appliances, and they have for over 10 years. The industrial chic look shouts “I Know What I am Doing in this Room”, even if the homeowner would much rather dine out than dine in. We suggest the many alternatives to the shiny high polish finish of stainless steel but most often our clients know what they want when it comes to high end appliances. Below are a couple of projects that show off a modern kitchen design look and features stainless steel appliances.
Modern Kitchen Photo Gallery With High End Appliances
This client wanted their kitchen open to both the living room and dining room. They spent some quality time investigating various appliances and visited a
SubZero/ Wolf showroom in Pinebrook New Jersey. That visit locked them in on the microwave, wall oven combination you see above and the 48” 6 burner gas range by Wolf. As you can see, the height of the range is about 37 “and allowed us to design an open window above the range and hide a ventilation system behind the cabinets above the range.
They were able to customize a full size side by side Subzero refrigerator/freezer that works very well with the design we came up with. The cabinets are were made by Brentwood Kitchens according to our specifications. We selected stainless steel hardware that matched the sleek look of the cabinetry. Stainless and black always work well together so we suggested a Cohiba Marone Granite with an attractive design for the countertops.
We needed to brighten this up some so we suggested the porcelain tile with a blond hue to it and added a line of 5 pendant lights over the kitchen island and eight high hat lights were recessed into the ceiling.
Kitchen Design Company in NJ Blends Stainless Steel with Modern Lines
We loved creating this next kitchen. The client was excited, we were excited,

ideas were just flowing after we got some input from the client. The SieMatic line of cabinetry is very trendy and that is just what we were looking for in this project. We used 3 different finishes on the cabinets. The center island was featuring a 6 burner Wolf range top and I was confident it was going to get a workout from the owners. They just expressed an enthusiasm for food preparation and gourmet cuisine. The ventilation hood really draws the eye to the center of this island.
The
Miele Experience center in Princeton NJ played a big role in the selection of ovens for this project. The stackable ovens the client selected were on display and included a convection oven, speed oven and a warming drawer. The matte laminate used to finish the primary cabinetry allows the appliance to really stand out. We also very happy with the color choices for the cabinet finishes.
We used a 12 x 24” porcelain tile floor with light grey streaks and to brighten up this kitchen even more. At the end of the kitchen Island extends into a dining table with room for 4 people. This previous post highlights how important the
kitchen island designs are for many clients. Careful research went into the selections we made for this kitchen island.
