Interested in some temporary relief for seasonal allergies? Long day and your achy muscles are throbbing? How about a nice hot steam shower? Speak to anybody that struggles with tree pollen and spring allergies and they will sing the praises of multiple how showers during those hardest hit days. We recently did a steam shower installation in New Jersey that the customer loved and wanted to share with our readers. This particular custom steam shower unit was part of an overall master bathroom design that had many features. Let’s dive into this design.
Custom Steam Shower Designs
Over the years we have implemented a number of
steam shower designs into our overall
his and hers bathroom designs. Although we customize each design for our customers, we are very particular about the steam shower generators we employ into these designs. On the high end, the
Thermasol steam shower ProSeries III is a high quality durable product that is a dream to work with. Also on the pricy side is the Kohler steam shower kit called Invigoration®. Both are relatively easy to install but do require expertise from both our plumbers and bathroom contractors. Most of the stem shower equipment is behind the walls and floors, so the design must be creative and in this case below, earthy.
Our customer wanted a natural, spa like feel to the room. We used river rock tile for the flooring in the shower room and porcelain wood look tile for the walls and tile outside the steam shower. The glass steam shower doors we installed have a tight seal to keep all the steam in but easy to operate. The led lighting was recessed and can be controlled from a central panel that temperature, flow rate, sound and can set the right mood all from one simple control panel.
Master Bath Designer That Understands You
This customer also enjoyed her bath time and wanted us to carry over the natural look theme throughout the space. She selected the chandelier from the Troy Lighting catalog long before we got involved. We needed to make sure it was part of the “Show Stopper” design…and anchored securely to the ceiling (haha). The painted white cabinets have a modern shaker style feel with brushed nickel hardware. The vessel sinks have a six inch depth and wide berth to minimize splashing. The countertop is black quartz provides a beautiful contrast that the customer was seeking. In fact we invested quality time with this and every customer to get an overall picture of their minds’ view of this new room.
Capturing your vision before we conger up a design is probably the most important step in the design process. For us, you need to be thrilled with the results and therefore, we want to understand what thrills you before we begin.
Steam Shower Installation in New Jersey
We design kitchens, bathrooms and other spaces and often subcontract out the
steam shower installation work we get once we have finished the design and secured the materials for this work. Our design plans are detailed and easy for any quality bathroom contractor to follow. But not all bathroom contractors have experience installing steam shower units, residential sauna’s and jacuzzi bathtubs. Therefore, if you want it done right the first time, I suggest you allow us to manage the project through completion with one of our accomplished bathroom remodeling partners that have to know how and experience with the steam shower generators we specify for your bathroom. It all starts with a phone call.
